Your resume,
measured against the role.
Not against everyone else's.
One deep, structured analysis of your resume and a specific job description. A fit score you can defend, the gaps that matter, and a single source of truth that powers your cover letter, your job search, and a real-time mock interview.

How it works
Three inputs. One ground truth. Everything else compounds.
Your resume and a job description go in. A structured analysis comes out. That analysis feeds every other feature — cover letters, job matching, and mock interviews.
01 — INPUT
Drop in your resume and the JD.
Upload a PDF or DOCX, paste a job description, and that's it. Two documents in — everything else builds from there.
02 — ANALYSIS
One model run. Many signals.
Semantic skill matching, experience alignment, gap detection, and an executive summary — all from a single structured pass.
03 — COMPOUND
The same data drives everything else.
Your analysis feeds cover letters that cite real evidence, job matches ranked by fit, and interview prep for this exact role.
What you get
The features other tools skip because they don't have the data.
The score is just the surface.
Semantic matching goes deeper than keywords. VectorCV maps your actual experience against what the role requires — skill by skill, with evidence strength and gap severity. You see exactly where you're strong, where you're light, and what to lead with.
Dear Hiring Manager,
I'm writing to express my interest in the Senior Product Designer role. Over the past seven years, I've led end-to-end design for products used by 2M+ users, with deep expertise in design systems and component architecture. My work at Linear directly addressed the kind of complex multi-stakeholder workflows your team is tackling
Drafted from your evidence, not generic prompts.
Every claim in the letter is grounded in something your analysis already found — a matched skill, a relevant project, a quantified result. Choose a tone and length, and the letter writes itself from real data.
Jobs that meet your bar, not just your filters.
VectorCV embeds your resume into the same space as thousands of live listings and ranks them by actual fit — not just title or location. You see the match percentage before you spend time reading the JD.

Strong opening — you're showing process before opinion. Next, quantify the cost of divergence (duplicated QA, inconsistent UX) to make the business case concrete.
A live conversation, not a quiz.
Real-time voice interview with Alex, an AI that's read your resume, the JD, and your fit analysis. He asks the questions a hiring panel would actually ask for this role — then coaches you, line-by-line, on what landed and what didn't.
How we treat your data
Strict by default. Boring by design.
Your resume is sensitive. We treat it that way — with automatic deletion, zero training use, and encryption at every layer.
30-day automatic deletion.
Every resume and analysis is automatically purged 30 days after upload. No archive, no backup, no exceptions.
Never used to train models.
Your documents are processed for your analysis only. They are never stored in training datasets or used to improve any model.
Encrypted at rest, TLS in flight.
Files are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Every connection between your browser, our servers, and our AI providers uses TLS 1.2+.
FAQ
Quick answers.
Is this just an ATS keyword tool?
No. VectorCV uses semantic matching — it understands that "led a team" and "managed direct reports" mean the same thing. Keywords are one signal of 14.
What happens to my resume?
Encrypted at rest, automatically deleted after 30 days, and never used to train any model. Read the full details in our privacy policy.
How accurate is the score?
The fit score is computed from 14 structured signals — skill coverage, experience depth, seniority alignment, and more. Every signal is auditable in the full analysis report.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Pay-as-you-go ($15) gets you a full analysis and a cover letter for one role. Subscriptions are there if you're applying to multiple positions.
Which file formats are supported?
PDF and DOCX uploads, or paste your resume text directly. Job descriptions are always pasted as plain text.
Can recruiters use this?
No. VectorCV is a candidate-side tool. It's designed to help you understand and improve your fit for a specific role — not to screen applicants.
